As the years carry on, there are constant changes, but for me, art has always been something that is constant. It has always been prevalent in my life, even when I am not physically creating something. I am constantly being inspired by the beauty and creativity that surrounds us whether it be in nature, humans, music, or beautiful work created by other artists. As an artist and designer, I strive to create work that inspires, sparks interest, and successfully executes a message or feeling.

 

I became thoroughly involved with art when I was younger; drawing, crafting, painting, Color by Number, you name it. Creativity always surfaced, whether I knew it or not. Today, I still enjoy every ounce and love to explore different media. Using my skills in Adobe software, it excites me to be able to bring something to life through digital media. There are endless opportunities in the digital world and that itself inspires me to expand my imagination and reach for something that I, myself, didn’t know I was capable of creating.

 

Just as life can be sometimes, my design process is full of winding roads, but ultimately a destination filled with joy. I believe the process is what makes the final composition so special. I get my creative juices flowing by listening to music, sipping a warm cup of Joe, jotting down thoughts and words, researching the problem, and then ultimately I am able to ignite the creator within. I believe that everything that exists in a composition is important. I invite new challenges with open arms, work continuously to please the little perfectionist sitting on my shoulder, and problem solve until I land on a creative solution that meets or exceeds the goals and expectations of my client or project at hand.
